As the founder of Lightworks, John spearheaded the creation and manages ongoing development of the AI Consortium, in addition to the broader Lightworks services portfolio. Beyond strategic vision, John focuses more broadly on the intersection of services, execution, IP, and governance — and how those elements must work together inside the world’s most regulated institutions. For over a decade, he has operated as an executive-on-demand and direct hands-on leader, driving net-new technology transformations across the financial, aviation, and telecommunication sectors throughout Asia-Pacific and North America.
Tim Clark
Group Head & Chief Information Officer
Appointed Group Head and Chief Information Officer of Scotiabank in November 2024, Tim is responsible for the Bank’s overall technology, security and innovation strategy, which supports the company’s growth and innovation with trust and efficiency. His responsibilities include leading the global delivery and operation of all technology capabilities, platforms, and services, including Data and AI. Tim has more than 30 years of global industry expertise within retail, corporate, and commercial banking and the capital markets. Prior to Scotiabank, Tim held technology leadership positions at TD Bank and Citigroup.
Laura Money
EVP & Chief Information & Technology Innovation Officer
Directing all facets of information technology at Sun Life, Laura manages everything from core architecture to application development. Her primary focus is deploying enterprise-grade digital innovations that support the firm’s global client base. She brings more than three decades of global financial sector experience to the table, having previously held senior IT leadership roles at Accenture and a major Canadian bank.
Hesham Fahmy

Leading technology, operations and AI strategy at TELUS, Hesham has spent the last few years turning TELUS into one of Canada’s most advanced AI-enabled enterprises — and is now bringing that experience to the AI Consortium. As EVP, COO and CIO, he oversees the digital platforms, enterprise systems, and customer-facing technology that power TELUS’ global operations across communications technology, health, agriculture, and digital experience. Under his leadership, TELUS has deployed AI at scale — empowering team members with advanced AI tools to accelerate productivity, unlocking $600 million in AI-enabled benefits and building Canada’s first sovereign AI factory.
